I rampljuset..
Amerikanska WaterCraft Performance Magazine fick ett litet tips där vi kort berättade om vårt tidigare event E113 och givetvis nappade dom för ett reportage. Men det är ju klart, det är inte varje dag man lyckas få ihop över hundra stycken vattenskoteråkare som tillsammans tar sig an Stockholms skärgården en vacker sommardag. Där dessutom vädret var helt perfekt och samtliga 100+ förare skötte sig exemplariskt!
What do you get when you pull together one hundred thirteen jet skis together in Sweden? You guessed right, a European record.
Not often do we see more then five friends having a joyride together at the local lake, little alone one hundred thirteen.
Its hard to envisage what that one older couple was thinking when they were walking their dog down the beach on a quiet morning and came across a colossal swarm of speed junkies.
The E113 (European/one hundred thirteen) was held in late May 30th of 2012. Guppa.se, a Swedish PWC forum organized the operation and demonstrated that a well thought out plan and the tenacious efforts of Guppa.se members were more then capable of setting a European record. This monumental undertaking took place on the one hundred thirty mile stretch of the Archipelago, capital of Sweden. Can anyone fantasize a more perfect venue?
Guppa.se member, Robert says that it was beautiful to see the PWC pilots going full throttle through the thirty five thousand islands of the Archipelago. He goes on by saying, “It was a wonderful experience.” Guppa.se claims that they will be putting on more events in the future. Who knows, maybe this year they will swap the “E” with a “W.”
