We found this video about four months ago – and although this was filmed waaay back in 2010, every time we show this to our friends they’re simply amazed. So, considering that many of you haven’t seen this, we wanted to show how our Swedish brothers are getting their kicks with a pair of Yamaha SuperJets.

Surrounding the city of Gävle, Sweden are a series of elevated aqueducts feeding fresh water to the neighboring agrarian farms. These man-made river systems have been around for decades and have been so integrated into the topography that they’ve become flanked by access roads and walking trails, as treelines have sprung up around it.

A pair of standup riders – who logically remained unnamed due to the likely illegality of the activity – heave their Yamahas into the system and start tearing down the smooth, glassy water like a hot knife through butter. While to many such restricted riding might become tediously boring, these two find plenty of ways to make the most of their confines.

Sprinting at full speed, one rider daringly ducks beneath 60cm walkways (that’s just over 23 inches to us uncouth Americans), narrowly shaving the back of his head in the process. The pair also go about “froggy hopping” down a straight stretch, splashing passersby in the process, all to Joe Esposito’s “You’re The Best Around” from the “Karate Kid” soundtrack. Needless to say, these Swedes definitely have a sense of humor. Watch the antics below:

Vid en närmare koll på youtube så finns även en liten kommentar från självaste "Team GoPro": We see some crazy stuff documented with a GoPro, but you guys are some of the craziest! Looks like you are going fa-a-a-a-a-st! Wear a helmet next time! We make a mount for that too!

Bra jobbat killar!
