we start a project for a customer from Japan, he will race at the Kings Cup in Thailand on 3 .12.2009.

as the waves are longer at the race cource , we will start with a RXT base, the hull is a lightweight orginal copy from a RXT, with some modification on the Intake tunnel.
complete weight 82 kg. the lightweight hull was made in Hungary for RE PERFORMANCE

a local paintshop from Tjörn on the westcoats has spray`d the hull perfekt in the customer color choice. the rear seat is carbon fiber , the hood is a 2007 RXT orginal hood

the engine on that project will be a complete ROTAX RACING factory engine with high compression and 1.1 bar SC boost pressure

in the next week we start building the engine with complete lightweight internals
the cylinderblock is at the maschineshop for honing, we use a 2008 RXP-X shortblock
pistons will be high compression ROTAX RACING made by MAHLE, crankshaft and balancershaft will be lightweight.DSC02994 (Large).JPG

How much does a stock RXT hull weight?

ca.170 kg the 2007/2008/2009 RXT hulls are a bit lighter then the 2005/2006 RXT hulls.
a complete 2007 RXT is 381 kg

oj då är det mkt vikt som kan sparas....
vad är det man brukar säga 10kg=1HK ?

Hahha vad lurad jag blev! Blev riktigt förvånad när jag såg 2 pers lyfta en hel skoter själva! "Jävlar vad starka de måste vara!". Sedan läste jag att motorn inte var i ännu.

a orginal RXT without engine is 270 kg , ( 381 kg incl engine ) I think my lightweight RXT is only around 100 kg without engine and pump,
I think to get the 0-100 Km/h acceleration down to low 2 sec time, 2.2-2.3 sec.
the pump will be a ROTAX RACING Prototype 160 mm , long cone syle, just the pump strator cost about 22.000 SEK, the complete pump with nozzle and cone ca. 40.000 SEK
topspeed will be just around 68-70 knot with CC rideplate setup.DSC02442 (Large).jpg
